Tips to Make Good Product Review Videos

Explain What You Personally Like

Your audiences watch your videos for more than just stripped-down information. They want to know what you think and what you say. So try to say what you personally like about the products.

You could talk about what you like about its packaging, how a product helps you with a particular problem, how it works, what a product’s qualities and failings, etc. Audiences want your overall opinion and the opinions you express should be as balanced and honest as possible. Just give them an honest and personal take in your product review video.

Riff Your Script

Don't read from a script directly. Make a list of the key talking points and an approximation of when you want to get to the next one on the script to keep on track.

Create a point form “shooting script” complete with timings. This will help keep you from running too long or too short. Then you can ad-lib your way through your review while sounding naturally conversational.

Include a Call to Action

It's a good idea to encourage your viewers to check out the brand and product that you’re reviewing at the end of your review videos. Tell them why they should learn more about this brand and this product, and they’ll be more likely to do so.

Examples of calls to action might be something like, "If you are interested in this products, please click here for more information", “For more information on Brand makeup products, check out the great products on the website.”

Keep Your Own Style

When audiences come to your channel, they expect a certain type of video. They keep coming back to watch your vlogs because they like your style, your personality, and the way you create your content.

And always make your content and video quality a priority so that your audience can expect to get the same information and entertainment. Ideally, your review videos should really blend right in with the rest of the content you upload to your channel.
